How We Work

Priority International helps Private Investigators assess, scope, and handle international matters in a practical, responsive, and professional way.

Our role is to make international work easier to manage, easier to progress, and easier to deliver properly.

How We Work

Priority International helps Private Investigators assess, scope, and handle international matters in a practical, responsive, and professional way.

Our role is to make international work easier to manage, easier to progress, and easier to deliver properly.

A Practical Approach to International Matters

International work often becomes difficult before the real work has even started.

The brief may be unclear. Assumptions may be made too early. The scope may not reflect what is realistic in the jurisdiction involved. Or the matter may simply require a level of international coordination the client does not want to build from scratch.

Our approach is designed to avoid that.

We work with Private Investigators in a way that is straightforward, commercially sensible, and focused on getting the matter set up properly from the beginning.

Initial Enquiry and Review

Most matters begin with an email enquiry.

At that stage, the aim is to understand:

  • the nature of the case
  • the jurisdictions involved
  • the client’s objective
  • any timing pressures
  • what support may be required

In some cases, the requirement is clear from the outset. In others, we follow up to clarify the brief, ask the right questions, and make sure the matter is properly understood before work begins.

Where useful, we are always available to discuss the case further by phone or online meeting.

Assessment and Scoping

International matters need to be assessed properly at the outset.

Where appropriate, we work with clients at the beginning of a matter, without charge, to help assess the requirement and agree the right scope. That helps reduce poor assumptions, weak instructions, and wasted time later in the case.

At this stage, we focus on:

  • clarifying the objective
  • understanding what is realistically achievable
  • identifying the most practical route forward
  • agreeing the likely scope of work
  • making sure the matter is framed properly from the start

A well-scoped assignment is easier to handle, easier to price, and more likely to be delivered properly.

Straightforward Contracting and Onboarding

Every assignment is put in place under contract.

We have made that process as straightforward as possible, with electronic documentation that can be completed quickly so matters can move forward without unnecessary delay.

This is an important part of how we work. It helps ensure the assignment is clearly defined, properly authorised, and supported by the right documentation from the outset.

Where required, we also ensure the matter is being pursued for a clear and lawful purpose and that the necessary onboarding information is in place before work begins.

Practical International Billing

We work with clients internationally and aim to make billing as straightforward as possible.

Assignments can be billed in GBP, USD, or EUR, with US clients able to pay by domestic US wire transfer.

That matters because international work should not become harder than it needs to be from an administrative or payment point of view.

Agreeing the Right Route Forward

Not every international matter should be approached in the same way.

Some assignments are straightforward and repeatable. Others need more careful handling, more coordination, or a more tailored approach depending on the jurisdiction, the nature of the enquiry, and the end use of the work.

Once the matter has been assessed and the required documentation is in place, we agree the most practical route forward with the client.

That means being clear about:

  • what will be done
  • how the matter will be approached
  • what the client should expect
  • how reporting will be handled
  • what the likely next steps are

Clarity at this stage prevents confusion later.

International Work Handled Through Trusted Support

Once the scope is agreed, the matter is progressed through our experience, coordination, and international network as appropriate to the case.

This allows Private Investigators to access trusted international capability without having to build that capability themselves for each matter.

Depending on the assignment, this may involve:

  • international due diligence and research
  • tracing and locate work
  • OSINT and intelligence-led enquiries
  • jurisdiction-specific investigative support
  • coordination across multiple countries
  • practical support on more complex cross-border matters

Our role is to make sure the matter is handled professionally, discreetly, and with proper attention to the realities of the jurisdictions involved. That emphasis on safe hands, responsiveness, and dependable international reach is consistent with the wider positioning work already set for the site.

Reporting and Ongoing Support

International support is only useful if the output is practical.

We provide reporting in a format that supports professional use and helps clients continue managing the matter with confidence. The aim is not just to deliver information, but to deliver it in a form that is clear, usable, and aligned with the client’s needs.

Where needed, we also support follow-on work, further enquiries, or additional case development as the matter progresses.

For many clients, this is part of why the relationship works well. We are not just completing isolated tasks. We are helping them manage international matters more effectively.

You Stay in Control of the Client Relationship

A key part of our model is that we support Private Investigators in a way that helps them stay at the centre of the client relationship.

That matters because international work often creates a commercial problem as well as an operational one. Referring the matter away can weaken the relationship, reduce control, and give away part of the value of the work.

Our role is to help Private Investigators access international capability while continuing to manage their own client with confidence. That “extension of your office” logic is central to the website message framework and homepage strategy already established.

What Clients Can Expect

When working with Priority International, clients can expect:

  • a practical and responsive approach
  • proper assessment and scoping at the outset
  • straightforward contracting and onboarding
  • realistic thinking about what can be done
  • discreet and professional handling
  • trusted international reach
  • reporting that is usable and commercially sensible
  • support that strengthens rather than disrupts the client relationship

That is the standard we aim to bring to every matter.

International in Scope, Practical in Delivery

Priority International supports Private Investigators in the US and internationally through trusted cross-border capability and an experienced international network.

In 2025 alone, we completed more than 1,600 assignments across 96 countries. That reflects not just international reach, but practical experience in handling a wide range of matters across jurisdictions.

Our approach is built around a simple principle: international work should be handled in a way that is practical, clear, and professionally managed from the outset.

That is how better outcomes are produced.
