We review the available information, identify any matters requiring clarification and, where appropriate, arrange a discussion by telephone or online before recommending the next steps.

2. Assessment and Scoping — Without Charge

We assess each enquiry to establish what is realistically achievable, the investigative resources available and the most appropriate approach.

Our initial assessment and scoping are provided without charge, allowing clients to understand the available options and likely costs before committing to an investigation.

3. Contracting and Compliance

Every assignment is undertaken under agreed contractual terms, with electronic documentation designed to make the instruction process straightforward.

We establish the purpose of the investigation, consider relevant legal and regulatory requirements and ensure that appropriate onboarding information is obtained before work begins.

Where licensing requirements apply, investigations are undertaken through appropriately authorised resources. In Ireland, regulated investigative assignments are handled through our licensed associated company, Priority Investigations Ireland Limited.

4. Practical Billing

We offer straightforward international billing arrangements, with invoices available in GBP, USD or EUR.

Domestic US wire transfer facilities are available for American clients, helping simplify payments and avoid unnecessary international banking arrangements.

5. Investigation and Case Management

Once the scope has been agreed, the assignment is progressed using our established investigative capabilities in the UK and Ireland or our international network, as appropriate.

We coordinate the investigative work, maintain communication with the client and manage any jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Where circumstances change or additional enquiries become necessary, we discuss the available options before proceeding beyond the agreed scope.

6. Reporting and Follow-Up

Our findings are presented in clear, structured reports designed to provide clients with reliable, practical information.

Reports are generally supplied in Microsoft Word format, allowing professional clients to incorporate findings into their own documentation where appropriate.

We remain available to discuss findings, clarify information and assist with additional enquiries as an investigation develops.
